New airline, Binani Air, begins ticket sales for inaugural operations
BINANI AIR has announced the commencement of ticket sales ahead of its inaugural flight scheduled for May 10, 2026, marking a significant step in the airline’s entry into Nigeria’s aviation sector.
In a statement released on Sunday, the airline disclosed that bookings will officially open at 12 noon on Monday, May 4, 2026, signaling its transition from operational planning to active service delivery.
The Chief Executive Officer, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma, described the development as a defining moment for the airline, noting that it reflects readiness to begin full commercial operations.
“Opening our ticket sales is a defining moment for us. It is the point at which our commitment becomes real for the travelling public. From this moment, we are not just preparing to fly—we are preparing to serve,” she said.
Chiroma emphasized that the airline is built on principles of reliability, safety, and respect for passengers’ time, adding that BINANI AIR aims to deliver a consistent and professional travel experience.
According to the statement, passengers can expect a seamless booking process, responsive customer service, and a strong commitment to operational discipline.
The airline also assured stakeholders of its readiness to restore confidence in the aviation industry, noting that trust remains a critical factor in the sector.
As part of its rollout plan, ticket bookings will be available through the airline’s official website and authorized travel partners.
BINANI AIR invited travellers, corporate organizations, and industry stakeholders to be part of its inaugural journey, positioning the launch as a new chapter in Nigeria’s domestic aviation landscape.
