Saudi club targets Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali
Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been linked with a move to a club in Saudi Arabia as he looks set to revive his club career.
According to South African outlet Soccer Laduma, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club has expressed strong interest in signing the Nigerian international.
The report added that clubs in Israel had also been monitoring Nwabali’s situation, but the 30-year-old now appears to be heading for Saudi Arabia instead.
The proposed deal is expected to be concluded before the start of the new season.
Nwabali has been without a club since leaving Chippa United in February.
The move would bring an end to several months of inactivity and offer the goalkeeper an opportunity to get his career back on track.
