UCTH College of Nursing opens Admission for 2026/2027 ND/HND programmes

The College of Nursing Sciences, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), has commenced applications for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Sciences programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Eligibility

Applications are open to suitably qualified candidates who:

– Chose the College of Nursing Sciences, UCTH, as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored 180 or above.

– Intend to change their first-choice institution to the College of Nursing Sciences, UCTH, provided they complete the change of institution through JAMB.

Applicants must also possess credit passes in the following subjects:

– English Language
– Mathematics
– Biology
– Chemistry
– Physics

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

How to Apply

Interested candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000 through the Remita platform at any commercial bank.

To generate the Remita payment:

1. Select Pay FGN and States TSA.
2. Select FGN.
3. Search for University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
4. Select School Fees/Charges.
5. Enter the code 1000187508.
6. Enter the amount and complete the payment.

After payment, applicants should exchange the Remita printout or bank teller for an official receipt at the UCTH Treasury, Permanent Site.

The official receipt should then be presented to the Provost, College of Nursing Sciences, UCTH, along Moore Road, to obtain the application form.

– Application closes: Monday, August 10, 2026.
– Computer-Based Test (CBT): Saturday, August 15, 2026.
– Venue: E-Library, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Permanent Site.
