JAMB opens portal for printing of 2026 UTME original results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be able to print their Original Result Slips from Wednesday.

JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja.

According to Benjamin, the Original Result Slip contains candidates’ photographs, national rankings and other security features designed to guarantee its authenticity and acceptance for official purposes.

He explained that the document remains one of the key requirements for post-UTME screening exercises and admission processing by tertiary institutions across the country.

The board advised candidates to print the slip using any internet-enabled device or through accredited business centres.

Benjamin also urged candidates to carefully verify all information contained in the document immediately after printing and retain copies for future admission-related processes.

“The Original Result Slip contains candidates’ photographs, national rankings and other security features that enhance its authenticity and acceptance for official purposes,” he said.

He stressed the importance of safeguarding the document, noting that it will be required at different stages of the admission process.
